Homeschooling: Resources and Encouragement

As a military wife, mom and homeschooling parent, I have a unique perspective and wisdom to share about homeschooling within the military and homeschooling in general.

I currently serve as a High School Educational Consultant and Military Outreach Coordinator for HSLDA. I am President of Belvoir Home Educators, a large military homeschooling support group in northern Virginia. I also lead Northern Virginia Black Homeschoolers. I currently teach High School Civics and Logic online via Zoom. I am bilingual in Spanish. I have been in military homeschool support group leadership for over 20 years at Camp Pendleton, California, Little Creek/Fort Story in Virginia Beach, Naples, Italy and Camp Lejeune, NC . I have established several clubs for local homeschoolers such as the only homeschool Beta Club in northern Virginia, Congressional Award, DC Explorers and Toastmasters Youth Leadership Program to name a few.

Browse my written works, podcasts and videos below; I think you’ll find something that meets you where you are!

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

— Joshua 1:9
