Homeschooling is a culture, a lifestyle. It isn’t for the faint at heart but it also develops you in so many ways that have nothing to do with the actual act of homeschooling.

The sacrifice of teaching and raising your children is honorable and so worth it but the days can be long and sometimes unfulfilling. It is important to have vision for the long haul if you intend to homeschool to college.

These 101 tips are all things I wish someone had told me when I first started homeschooling. One thing I love about the book is that it is also a journal. It slows you down and makes you interact with what you are learning. (I also gave a copy as a gift for a new homeschooler).

Practical tips PLUS interactive journal

I cannot say enough good things about this small-but-mighty book! As a homeschool mom who’s newer in my journey, I appreciate how the author leaves so many nuggets of wisdom in this book from her 20+ years of homeschooling. There are certain topics that I had thought of before, but I would say that at least 50% of the book highlights things that had never even occurred to me! It’s been a great conversation-starter with my husband too as we continue to map out our homeschool vision for our family.
